ACTINSPACE IN bordeaux
#ActInSpace2022 - Bordeaux
It will be mainly organized by ENSEIRB-MATMECA, an engineering school specialized in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, telecommunications, mechanical engineering and mathematics. It will also be supported by NAASC, Bordeaux Technowest and Aerospace Valley.
Bordeaux is a south-western French city, mainly known for its famous wineries and the honorific title of best European destination in 2015.
Besides its good wines and its beauty, Bordeaux also plays a great role in ASD (Aeronautics – Space – Defense) with 1600 companies linked to these industries and more than 120000 people working in this sector. To federate all these activities, an association was created in 1983, Bordeaux Aquitaine Aéronautique et Spatial (BAAS) that promotes the aeronautics, spatial and defense industry in Aquitaine.
This year again, the objective of ActInSpace is to promote the creation of start-ups by using and adapting space technologies to our daily life. During this hackathon the teams of 4 to 5 participants will have to take up one of the challenges put forward by the CNES, the ESA and other sponsors within 24 hours.
Students, researchers, amateurs, passionates…. whatever your background, you are welcome to be part of our International Hackathon.
Join us on the 18th & 19th november to try something new, to explore new concepts and maybe to create new business ideas in a fun collaborative event.
