ACTINSPACE IN A FEW WORDS

Feedback on ActInSpace 2018
After a first French edition (1 country, 5 cites), a second European edition (12 countries, 24 cities), ActInSpace 2018 went global.
ActInSpace took place simultaneously on May 25-26 2018 in 32 countries and 54 cities. This third edition proved an enormous success, attracting more than 3,300 entrants. On the day of the event, 2,200 took part in more than 550 teams working for 24 hours on one of the 80 challenges set.
The International Prize, a flight in weightless conditions aboard the A310 Zero-G aircraft, went to Wright Team Incorporated from Australia.

ActInSpace® is an international innovation contest initiated by the French Space Agency (CNES) uniting over 100 cities across 5 continents. ActInSpace® is supported by ESA and the ESA Business Incubation Centres network. The CNES and ESA have mandated ESA BIC Sud France, led by Aerospace Valley, for the operational execution of the 4th edition of ActInSpace®.
